Big changes may be coming as rumors say Google is planning to roll out a new Digg-like rating system called VR (Visitor Rating) which is similar to Digg.
Rumor has it that the new update will happen in the next 2 weeks during the next Google toolbar update. This would be huge news for SEO and has many implications. Spammy sites will no longer be able to hold high spots, but what about black-hatters that want to bring down their competition?
Another big rumor is that Google will be removing the backlink data for websites. If this happens it will be harder to perform SEO by seeing all the competitions’ backlinks and getting all the same links…
